The Science Behind It
Copper peptides, in bite-size science.
AHK-Cu
The copper peptide made for hair.

Built for hair. AHK-Cu (Ala-His-Lys + copper) is the copper tripeptide studied on human hair follicles and dermal papilla cells. Its cousin GHK-Cu is better known for skin.
Supports the growth phase. In lab studies, AHK-Cu helped dermal papilla cells grow and survive, the cells that signal the follicle to stay in its growth (anagen) phase.
What the studies found
In lab tests on real human hair follicles (ex vivo), AHK-Cu supported follicle elongation, helping roots stay healthy for fuller-looking hair where it’s thinning.
AHK-Cu increased growth of dermal papilla cells (DPC), the cells that feed the hair root, so fine, flat hair can look thicker with more body.
AHK-Cu raised the Bcl-2/Bax ratio, a lab marker linked to healthier hair root cells, helping your part and crown look less see-through over time.
AHK-Cu was studied on the hair root itself.

GHK-Cu
The copper peptide studied for skin.

A peptide your body already makes. GHK-Cu (Gly-His-Lys + copper) occurs naturally in human plasma.
Studied for collagen and firmness. GHK-Cu is studied for its role in skin collagen and firmer, smoother-looking skin.
What the studies found
GHK-Cu was first found in human plasma in 1973. Its levels fall noticeably after our 20s, around the time skin gets thinner and slower to repair. Topping it up helps support firmer, healthier-looking skin, including your scalp.
70% of women saw more skin collagen with GHK-Cu (vs 50% vit C, 40% retinoic acid), for firmer, smoother-looking skin.
After 8 weeks of nano-carrier GHK-Cu, 40 women saw 55.8% less wrinkle volume vs control serum, for firmer, smoother-looking skin.
GHK-Cu was studied on skin, for collagen and firmness.
